The new technology uses the fundamentals of Alan Parker's 1976 invention called friction spinning.
In 2010 we plan to start retrofitting existing older models of Schlafhorst Autocoro Rotor Spinning Machines.
The Autocoro's yarn winding heads will restrict delivery to 200-250 metres per minute.
Retrofitting will still allow Soft Feeling Yarns to be spun 10 times faster than labour and floor-space intensive Ring spinning. Retrofitting will also allow blends with man-made fibres to be spun 3 times faster than Rotor spinning without fibre-melting causing excessive yarn-end breaks.
An integral fibre-dust & trash removal system means high-quality yarns from less prepared and cheaper raw cotton lint feedstack that existing spinning technologies
